Masjidee Privacy Policy

Masjidee helps you find mosques, see their jamat times and get a reminder to leave on time. Masjidee is operated by Ikhlaas Labs, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Questions: support@masjidee.app.
What we collect and why
| What | Why | Stored? |
|---|---|---|
| Your location (precise or approximate, only if you allow it) | To show nearby mosques and distances, and to check you're at a mosque when you tap "I'm at the jamat" | Not saved to your account or our database. It's used for the request and discarded. A rounded location (about 11 m) may sit in a cache for up to 5 minutes to make nearby searches faster |
| Email address (when you sign in) | To sign you in | Yes, by our sign-in provider |
| Display name and optional photo | Shown next to your contributions | Yes. Other users can see them |
| Your contributions: jamat times, confirmations, mosque details, reports, answers to "Did it start on time?" | To keep mosque information correct for everyone | Yes. They're public, together with your display name |
| Your mosques and settings: follows, reminder settings, language | To show your mosques and send your reminders | Yes |
| Push notification token | To deliver reminders and updates | Yes, until you sign out or delete your account |
| App usage (screens and taps, anonymous) | To learn what helps people reach jamat | Yes, not linked to your name or email |
| Crash reports | To fix bugs | Yes, for a limited time |
If you don't sign in, you can still browse mosques, follow them on your phone, get reminders, and use prayer times and Qibla. That information stays on your phone.
We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
