Masjidee Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Masjidee, operated by Ikhlaas Labs. By using the app, you agree to them.

  1. What Masjidee is. Mosques, representatives of mosques, and people who pray there share jamat times and mosque details. We work hard to keep them correct, but times can change without notice. When it matters, check with the mosque. Calculated prayer times and Qibla directions are estimates.
  2. Your account. Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what's done with your account. You must be at least 13.
  3. Contributing. When you add or update information, you agree to:
    • share only what you believe is correct;
    • not add fake mosques or times, or spam;
    • not use names, photos or notes that are offensive, hateful or sectarian, or that attack any person, group or mosque;
    • not claim to represent a mosque unless you do;
    • not try to get around limits, reviews or other people's decisions, including by using several accounts.
  4. What you give us. Contributions are shared with everyone who uses Masjidee. You give Ikhlaas Labs permission to store, show, edit for accuracy, and keep them, including after you delete your account (without your name).
  5. Moderation. We and our volunteer moderators may review, correct, hide or remove content, and may pause or stop your ability to contribute if you break these terms. Mosques may be merged or closed when the information shows they're duplicates or no longer active.
  6. Mosque representatives. People confirmed as representatives can publish a mosque's official times. We may remove that role if it's misused or no longer accurate.
  7. Availability. Masjidee is provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren't responsible for a missed jamat, a wrong time or a late reminder. Phones can delay notifications (battery saving, for example).
  8. Changes and ending. We may change these terms or the app. We'll show important changes in the app. You can stop using Masjidee and delete your account at any time.
  9. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
